The 2023 Council of Western State Foresters (CWSF) and Western Forestry Leadership Coalition (WFLC) Spring Meeting will take place in Boise, Idaho, from Tuesday, May 16, at 8:00 a.m. to Thursday, May 18, at 5:00 p.m.

• We will begin the meeting on Tuesday, May 16, at 8:00 a.m. with the WFLC membership together. At 10:30 a.m., CWSF and USDA Forest Service Western Leaders will gather in their respective groups and hold their meetings. 
• All attendees are invited to join us on Wednesday, May 17, for a field tour.
• The meeting will conclude on Thursday, May 18, with the WFLC membership coming together for the full session. 

Registration: Early bird registration is $500 - register by February 17 for this rate. Regular registration is $600 - register for this rate between February 18 and April 14. Late registration is $650 - those registering on or after April 15 will pay this rate. The registration rate includes catering for all three days (coffee/tea breaks, afternoon snacks, and lunches), meeting attendance, and registration processing fees.

WFLC USDA Forest Service participants: please do not pay the above fees; instead, register under the $0 USDA Forest Service Option by April 15, 2023. This includes western Regional Foresters, western Research Station Directors, the Forest Products Laboratory Director, and western State and Private Forestry Directors. Please get in touch with Patricia Payne before registering any other individuals from the USDA Forest Service not listed above.

Cancellations: Cancellations of the total registration amount will be possible until April 15, 2023. After that, someone may be substituted to take your place, but cancellations cannot be processed.

Details: The meeting will be held along the beautiful Boise River at The Riverside Hotel.

Lodging: Hotel reservations can be made by contacting The Riverside Hotel Reservations Department via telephone at 208-343-1871. The room rate is $159.00 per night, plus taxes. Please reference the CWSF group rate when making reservations. The room block will end on April 7, 2023. After this date, reservations cannot be guaranteed, and discounted room rates may no longer be available. Check-in time is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is at 11:00 a.m. Early check-in is based on a "space available" basis and will not be guaranteed. Individuals staying in their rooms beyond check-out time will be billed one additional night's stay.
